On Tuesday year 6 put on their chef hats and started to make bread and butter pudding [a World War Two recipe]. The first people to make the pudding were Ciaran, Cai, Cerys and Amy. Mrs lewis helped us make the mixture and put it into the oven. This was very delicious and worth the wait while it was cooking. If you want to make the the delicious pudding, read the recipe below.
Things that you will need:
10 ounces/280 grams of fresh or stale bread
2 ounces/56 grams of margarine or butter
1 ounce/28 grams of sugar
2 ounces/56 grams of raisins or chocolate
milk to mix
extra sugar for topping
Serves eight people
The pudding was amazingly delicious and was easy and quick to make. This was good for our topic of WWII and everyone should try this wonderful activity.
