On Friday the 9th of February 2018 Clydach primary school played against Craigfelen. There were 9 aside and in the second half there were 6 aside. We wore blue and red clothes and they wore red and black clothes so that we couldn’t get mixed up if we all had the exact same clothes on.


The tournament was held in Vardre RFC a good rugby club. Luckily, we had permission to go on the rugby field thanks to Vardre. Sir took 14 of us and the other team had 9 so when we played the game we had to lend them a few of our players to make it fair.


This is all about having fun playing rugby. The players that went on our team was CJ, Jadon, Sofie, Kiya, Ryan, Rhys T , Issy, Pagie, Cai, Tarren, Lucas, Mickey, Rhys B, Morgan. We all had a great time and appreciated the opportunity to compete in a rugby match that we WON!!!


It was arranged on the 9th of February 2018. The match started at 2:15 till 2:50 on Friday. We all had a giggle when CJ’s mum showed us a video on YT before the game. We all can’t wait for the next rugby game and we all hope we can do the exact same next time.


We did this because to tell you that we all had a great time and to tell you how well we all did. The one we all should be thanking is sir for teaching us a bit of rugby before we started the game and even more before that. We asked sir about how we all did and he said,“You all did very well and you should be proud of yourselves“ and we screamed,“THANK YOU!“
