In the year 6/5 class, we have been recently learning about electric circuits. Every last session we try to do some circuits. There are a series and a parallel circuits that we have been learning and apparently the current is running through the wires and are lighting up the bulb.
You might be wondering how do we make the circuits. Basically all you will need is two wires, one battery, one bulb holder and a bulb. There are a lot of of fun things to do with electric but you’ve still got to be careful. Sir showed us how a nail, a battery, a bulb, and a bulb holder lights up a bulb. But he put the wire clipper closer to the other wire clipper but then he put one of them further away. The further away ment the electricity had to travel through the nail and the nail acted as a resistor, using up some electricity so there was less to go into the bulb. It showed us why there was a difference of the brightness. We’ve only been doing this for 5 weeks but still learning. Hope you enjoyed the blog.
