This Year Y6 have been doing rugby on the yard for P.E to improve their skills.
We have been practising throwing it up into the air and clapping and throwing it under our legs while practising to do the passes correctly. The pupils have been put into teams. One defender and three runners trying to score. Every time somebody scores we would switch teams then go again. We have been trying to improve our skills by running and passing while running in front of the other player and by practising only passing behind you. Now that we have been practising rugby we’re all excited to watch Wales play against Scotland. Their teacher said: "It did take a while for some but others got it straight away." This term year 6 in Clydach Primary school have been planning to film a scary story in groups of around 3 to 4 people, to improve their filming skills and learn to cooperate.
First, they had to pick a story for the group; then write a script of the story and they need include every detail. After that, they have to write their script, on Word. They had one scene each. Altogether there should be around four to six scenes. |
