On 28th of November, 10 year 6's went to the DVLA to a coding competition. We were the first one's to get there and we got given passes. Then we got taken to a canteen and we all waited. We went into the presentation room and Lucy Owens off the TV news was the presenter. We looked at some games made on Scratch then voted on which game we thought was the best. Next we went outside where the police, fire brigade and army had set up different activities. It was cool! We had our fingerprints taken and could sit in the different vehicles. Nancy said: "The day was amazing. There was so many things to do. My favourite part was going in the police car and playing beachball bingo." We had a big surprise at the end of the day. Everyone had a goodie bag and the school was given lots of robots to programme back in class. Just some of the songs that pupils in Year 6 will need to go over.
On the 15th of November Clydach Primary School Year 6/5 visited Dinefwr in Llandeilo. We went there as a two class trip, to learn more about the Victorians. |
