Year 6 Leavers

To all year 6,

You have been a fantastic year group. Most of you joined our school in the nursery and it has been a pleasure to welcome new children along the way. Every teacher has fond and happy memories of you all.

These last few months have been very difficult and it has been a great shame that you couldn't finish your time in our school in normal circumstances.

A big thank you to all the parents who have supported the children through their time at Clydach Primary School.

We wish you all the best in the next stage of your education and have a fantastic summer holiday.

Activities for Monday 6th July

Three activities on Seesaw today and maths revision on Idoceo Connect:

• Speed maths on Seesaw. How many tables and single digit additions can you do in 2 minutes.
• A comprehension on Seesaw explaining about our NHS that was 72 years old yesterday.
• Vocabulary Ninja sentences on Seesaw.
• Three levels to choose from on Idoceo Connect. The room pins are:

Level 3: 13727
Level 4: 94978
Level 5: 49653 Type in ‘idoceo connect’ in your search engine then enter the PIN number.

If you are struggling on a skill at your level, use Neo maths to watch tutorial videos or get in touch with me and I’ll do my best to help you.

I’ll look through your answers at the end of the day. If there are any answers you’ve given that are right but the computer has marked wrong, I’ll sort it out and get back in touch with you with your correct score.

A Kahoot and two maths challenges on Seesaw today:

Famous Places - This Kahoot is to test your internet research skills. It is not timed. You might know some answers but those you don't, type in the key words of the places to find the answers. Some answers will be easier to work out than others.
Be a detective and don't just press any answer. You might have to type in the question or all the answers to work out the correct choice.

You will find o Friday maths challenge on Seesaw. See how many you can do.

We are working on improving our tables and single digit addition. You don't have to fill in the sheet on the screen. You could do the answers as quickly as possible on paper, check your answers on slide 2 then post your score. Remember to give yourself 2 minutes only.

I have placed chapter 19 of Holes on Neo.
