Clydach Primary School went on a trip to Birchgrove Comprehensive School on 15/9/2019 to have a tour around and find out about mindfulness. Mr McComas said: "It was very interesting and fun and I also think that the children enjoyed." As they entered they could see it was a really big school and they most likely going to get lost in it like mice. First they went into the hall and got greeted by the Headmaster. However, she looked strict but she was actually really nice. Secondly they all walked into a cooking room and they had to eat a Flapjack and guess what ingredients were inside of it. After that they went into a room where they learned how to do C.P.R. They learned how to do it on dummies which clicked when you pushed down hard enough, however they had to wipe the mouths of the dummies otherwise they would get germs off other people. One of the students called Isabelle Quinn said "It's really hard to push down on the dummies chest even if the dummy is soft." Soon after they all went into the hall again and had lunch. After they had a lovely lunch they all went to drama and they had to stand in a pose of a celebrity like Captain America, Captain Marvel and many more because they had to show emotions. As the day passed it was eventually time to go back to school and then home. A few of the children said it was fun and some even said they were going to to go to that school once they finish year 6.
