This week we have been working on our Victorian game graphics. We drew the characters, background, obstacles and the things you had to collect on the ipads. We downloaded the pictures on to the computer to put on Scratch to make our games. Once you have put your picture on Scratch you can start thinking about what your game is going to be like. This was one of the most fun things that we have ever done and one of best things was that all of us enjoyed making our games; well I know we did I don't know any one who didn't enjoy. When using game graphics it's interesting how loads of other people have created their game graphics but also how they had done it. One of the most fun things about this is that once we have done our games people might get to see what we have done on Scratch. But the really tricky part is when you have made the characters you have to control them. To do this a little picture will come of the character that you had just clicked on and at the top there will be different colours. Just press the word next to the colour and there will be a list of control meanings like sound, event, sensing and others, each of them will help you to control your character in moving and things like that. When you have finished you will have your game and maybe people will play it on scratch; we will just have to find out. by Jorja and Kaitlin Different characters from our Victorian computer games. Watch this space to play them!
