We are writing about our time making the World War Two short movie about he Blitz. Our group started off by writing a script. We had to search the net for information about the Blitz so we could put it in our script. But everyone wanted certain lines and parts to do. Most of us got what we wanted. We had to write out our actions, scenes, outfits and props. Then we had to practise. We wrote a song about the blitz based on a song by Magic. Cerys wrote the lines, it took a week to finish it. The lines: Saturday morning dropping some bombs on top of Britain. Driving this plane makes me insane, it is really mad. Why got to be so rude? Come on guys it's World War Two. We Germans are going to rule. This is the Blitz! Although it was a lot of fun it took forever to get all the props and outfits. At last it was it was time to film. The first scene was Ieuan and Cai. They were in a German airplane singing the song above; it took 6 attempts. Cai put a pudding on his head as a helmet and Ieuan, you couldn't stop laughing at him. After that was done Amy had her bit and was the mad air warden. She was running around madly. At the end of short scene Amy hit the door and fell to the floor. ( She was playing " The MAD air warden " ) It was time to go in bomb shelter. Cerys = Mum Cai= Dad Ieuan= Good Child Amy= Baby child. We were in the bomb shelter hiding away from the bombs. We had bomb sounds in the background (thanks to Miss Lewis ). In this scene Amy was crying and Ieuan was being a brave child. This scene was a really short; it does show how it was like in the Blitz. Our last scene WE think is the best! We are in the living room with a massive wireless in the background ( wireless means radio ). The wireless tells lots and lots of facts about the Blitz, so our time on the internet paid off! To finish off the short movie Ieuan and Amy sang 'You are my Sunshine'. Ieuan was really good at it too. But all you can see is Cerys clapping and Cai dancing in the background.
Thank you for reading! By Ieuan and Cerys.
