On Friday 7 October we went on a trip to see a performance called The sinking of the Arandora star and to go to the museum. The first thing we did was go to the museum to find out about the sinking of the Arandora star. The man who worked at the museum handed out little booklets for us to fill in. We got split into two groups and my group went over to the waterfront museum and the other stayed at the other museum. At the waterfront museum we hung our coats up and sat at a table. Each table had an activity on it. My activity was to spot as many advertisements as possible, I spotted all of them. Once we'd done that activity we moved onto a new one which was saying what you thought is happening in the picture. We got back to the first museum and started activities there. There were lots of things set up like a bomb shelter, semaphore signals, dressing up and much much more. Me, Jade and Jess wandered off together solving puzzles. It was all great fun. When it started to get close to dinner I started to feel very hungry. We went over to the theatre to have lunch and I had a ham sandwich, a drifter,an apple, cheese and onion crisps and a drink. Izzy was handing out sweets and she gave me two. They were butter mints and they tasted lovely! Then sir told us to to finish up because the show was going to start soon. Then the show started. There were lots of funny parts, like when a man was dressed as a girl and he acted really silly and everybody stared laughing! It was sad, funny, happy, rude and interesting. The best part of the play was when the man was dressed as a girl. The show ended and we walked over to the bus. The bus was a double decker and we were all exited to go on it. Me, Erran, Bethan, Jade and Jess all sat at the back but we were gutted because all the left over sweets were being handed out an we didn't get any! Every time the bus turned round corners it felt like it was going to tip over. After hours of fun we finally got back to school in time for home time. The best part of the day was when we saw the play. I had an amazing time!!
