Venus is the second planet from the sun and nearest to the Earth. It is named after The Roman Goddess of love and beauty, but it's extremely hot and deadly atmosphere makes it impossible for human astronauts to explore it's surface. Venus has been mistaken for a U.F.O because it's so bright. Venus is slightly smaller than the Earth and people often call it the Earth's twin. Earth and Venus both have an atmosphere that contains clouds. The atmosphere on Venus is unbreathable as it made up of poisonous carbon dioxide gas.
