On Thursday 25th October exactly 13 girls from Clydach Primary School went to Play Football to play a couple of matches against other schools.
All the girls came to school in their football kits so that they were ready and they didn't need to change except from putting the school jerseys on. After the girls put the jerseys on they grabbed their bags and left. At approximately 10:30 the girls were already on the minibus. It took around 10 minutes to get there said a Year 6 named Emma. When they got there they went to the main hall where all the other teams were. Next Mr Bevan and Mrs Ware spilt them up into teams. There were six on one team and seven on the other. "Before long they went to warm up on pitch one." said Lara Mason. After the girls got warmed up the they got ready to play their first matches; one team was on pitch one and the other team was on pitch three. The team that was on pitch three were against Sketty and they won! The score was 0-2. It was a great day and everyone enjoyed the football. For most of us it was the first time we had played a competitive game against other schools. We have another tournament in November so watch this space.
