On 20th September the year six from Clydach primary school participated in a rugby tournament at the Vardre playing fields. They went to compete for their school as a celebration for the start of the Rugby World Cup. Unfortunately they had to walk there and they were not impressed. As soon as they got there they were placed into six different teams; each team was the name of a different country. The names were: Tonga, Namibia, Scotland, France, Wales and Australia. Everybody played well and also everybody was nice. However, one boy from Birchgrove was quite mean and he was too serious with the games that he played. When each team played they lined up to start the match. I saw that most teams spread out in their lines which is correct. Molly, a girl from year 6, was saying that she enjoyed the game but some of the other teams played rough and that it wasn't fair. After that Dannii said that she can't wait for the Rugby World Cup because she will watch it all. For the next six weeks the Rugby World Cup is on. Make sure you watch it all! I promise you that you will enjoy it. The Rugby World Cup ends on the 3rd of November.
