Leaver's Assembly

On the 14th July 2011 the year 6 did a leavers' assembly because we are leaving the school to go to Comprehensive School. Some of us are going to Cwmtawe and some of us are going to Birchgrove. We showed everyone what we wanted be in the future and what we think we're going to be like. We also made everyone laugh with some of sir's "funny" jokes!

We also showed the films we'd spent weeks making and also the outtakes! We made them using the green screen and sir added effects. It often took a few tries to get them good but they came out great in the end and made everyone laugh. There was Doctor Who, where we went back to Victorian times. Scary, when we danced to Thriller. Adventure, where we searched for the golden skull. Lost, where we were captured by pirates and Shrinking, where we were shrunk and attacked by a spider!

A lot of parents were crying and even some teachers! I think some people will be sad to leave Clydach Junior School and some are ready to move on but we will all take with us the memories, good and bad, that we've had here.
