On Thursday 21st February most of the girls in Year 6, and one girl in Year 5 got chosen to represent the school in the girls football tournament at PlayFootball.
We went to school as we would usually do, then we got ready and went around 10:20, therefore there was a minibus waiting outside. We went onto the minibus and arrived in PlayFootball. Mrs Ware and Mr Bevan told us what teams we were in, then we went to a pitch to get warmed up. By the time we warmed up we found out that a Wales female football player, Ffion Morgan, was at the tournament which go us pumped up. Soon after, Team A was ready to play their first game and then Team B did. After we finished those matches we were ready to try our best. The second match came, then the third and after that, the last match. After we finished our last games we found out Team A were going to the finals! Sadly the other group didn't. After that we had some food and drinks, then we played a fun match with Ffion Morgan, which was really fun. As soon as we finished that, it was time to go back to school. The football tournament was really fun and we can't wait to go to the finals!
