On Wednesday the 17th of October, 6 girls and 6 boys from Clydach Primary School went to Coed Gwillyn park to take part in a cross-country race. When we got there we warmed up. We competed against lots of girls and the boys competed against lots of boys.
The boy's went first while the girl's had a rest and cheered for the boys. The boys ran all the way around the whole park; they said there legs were like jelly. Max Evan came 8 out of 60 boys and Alfie James came 31st out of 60 boys even though he was pushed and fell in the forest. The girls went after the boys while the boy's had a rest and there were 60 girls. Amber came 22 out of 60 girls and Amelia came 23 out of 60 girls as well. After the girls race someone from Clydach primary school called Paige came down on her bike with sweets and we all said "Yummy thanks Paige." She was really kind to us and we needed the extra energy. The next race is after Christmas so we will train by running laps around the yard.
